About us

HollandPatentSearch was started in 2008 by Peer Froehling.

Peer studied chemical engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology, and obtained a PhD degree in biomedical materials science at the University of Twente. Since then he has acquired over 25 years of experience in research and business development in a broad area of industrial processes and products. He has 30 scientific publications and 15 patent applications in his name. Since 2005 he is active as a patent information professional.

HollandPatentSearch is a member of several professional organisations as e.g. WON (the Dutch society for patent information professionals) and the Belgian Patent Information User Group.

HollandPatentSearch performs patent searches but is not a patent law firm.
